The 2018 OIV Award to the “Guide pratique de la taille Guyot – Prévenir les maladies du bois” by Marco Simonit.
On July 5 in Paris the International OIV Jury awarded the prize in the viticulture category to the “Guide pratique de la taille Guyot – Prévenir les maladies du bois” by Marco Simonit, the French version of his “Manual of pruning of the vine: Guyot”.
The international OIV jury, the authoritative and prestigious International Organization de le Vigne et du Vine, awarded Marco Simonit and its Handbook “for the contribution given to the promotion of the image and the culture of wine”, as pointed out by the OIV General Director Jean-Marie Aurand.
The awards presented every year by the OIV Award Jury are an international reference and recognized in the wine world.
Every year, the OIV Award Jury gives an award to the best books published in the past two years, and which have been submitted by the authors or publishers.
This Year, in Paris, the International OIV Jury awarded 14 Prizes and 10 Special Mentions, among 51 works in competition and 19 countries represented.
